Steven LaVoie
Chairman and CEO
Steven LaVoie founded ArrowStream in 2000 and serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. LaVoie's extensive experience in foodservice and finance, combined with his passion and commitment to building trust among trading partners has helped him develop a unique vision for reshaping the foodservice supply chain. Since founding ArrowStream, he and his team have been dedicated to transforming the supply chain into a collaborative process and shared economic interests, while improving the bottom line.
Prior to forming ArrowStream, LaVoie was President of the Sterno Division at Blyth Industries, a $1.3 billion global consumer products company. Previously, LaVoie held several positions at Blyth Industries including Vice President of International and Corporate Controller. LaVoie earned his Master's degree in public and private management (MPPM) from the Yale School of Management and his Bachelor of Arts from The University of California, Berkeley.
LaVoie holds many professional recognitions including: Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Midwest honoree, finalist for the Illinois Technology Association (ITA) 2010 CEO of the Year, and Supply and Demand Chain Executives’ 2009 Pros to Know. He serves on the Board of the Chicago Institute of Psychoanalysis and chairs its investment committee. He has been involved with the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association since 1999.

Rodger Mullen
President and Chief Operating Officer
As ArrowStream's President and Chief Operating Officer, Rodger Mullen leads the company's operating functions and operating strategy, across the ArrowStream services portfolio. His focus is on continuous innovation in the areas of logistics management and software solutions on behalf of ArrowStream's customers. Since joining ArrowStream in 2005, Mullen has structured and aligned the Company's operating teams to drive results for all trading partners.
Prior to joining ArrowStream, Mullen was President of Schneider Logistics, a subsidiary of Schneider National, Inc., one of the largest full truckload companies in North America. Mullen began his career in operations for Schneider in 1982 and held positions of increasing responsibility across several logistics and transportation categories, including serving as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Customer Service. During Mullen's tenure in Schneider Logistics, the Company grew from $200M to $3.2B in purchased transportation revenue. As President of Schneider Logistics, Mullen was responsible for Logistics Services globally.
With 25 years of proven leadership in transportation, logistics and supply chain, Mullen has consulted for several large shippers and carriers in North America. Mullen has been a frequent speaker at many Council of Logistics Management National and Roundtable events, as well as many other industry functions. He also was a member of the Georgia Tech Logistics Senior Steering Committee and has involvement with numerous charitable organizations.
A native of Indiana, Mullen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Secondary Education at Indiana University. Prior to entering the business world, he served as a high school educator and coach.

John Harvey
Chief Financial Officer
John Harvey joined ArrowStream in November 2009 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing leadership, experience and core values that are particularly relevant to the next phase of ArrowStream’s evolution and that will enhance the company’s already strong financial position. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the company.
Harvey brings a wealth of experience from fast-growing companies to ArrowStream. His proven ability to build financial teams, discipline and processes that deliver operational insight for rapidly growing companies is crucial as ArrowStream continues its own growth trajectory.
Before joining ArrowStream, Harvey served as CFO of Redbox Automated Retail, LLC and then as CFO of Redbox’s publicly traded parent, Coinstar, Inc. Prior to Redbox, Harvey was with JetBlue Airways Corporation where he supported the company’s growth from an entrepreneurial start-up to a mature, $3 billion-revenue operation, serving initially as Vice President & Treasurer and then as Executive Vice President & CFO.
Harvey earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Tony DeFrances
Chief Technology Officer
Tony DeFrances is the Chief Technology Officer for ArrowStream. He has been with ArrowStream virtually since its inception and is responsible for all aspects of technology including Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Documentation, Systems & Network Infrastructure, and Data Management.
DeFrances is an IT professional with more than 25 years of experience. For the 10 years prior to joining ArrowStream, he founded and ran a successful software company that developed and sold communications, middleware, and sales force automation products and services to major Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to starting his own company, DeFrances spent more than a decade in consulting and software development.
DeFrances has a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology and a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Dayton.
Tony lives in the Chicago area with his wife Eileen and three children.

Bill Michalski
Vice President, Business Process
Bill Michalski is Vice President of Business Process at ArrowStream, and is responsible for leading continuous business process improvement efforts across the organization. Michalski and his team ensure a relentless focus on process innovation and a measurement-driven approach to deliver tangible bottom-line impact for ArrowStream and its customers.
Michalski has spent 19 years delivering technology-enabled solutions to companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 500. Prior to joining ArrowStream in 2006, Michalski was an Account Director for Verticalnet, a software and consulting services provider of supply management solutions. With Verticalnet (now BravoSolutions), Michalski was accountable for sales and delivery of spend management and strategic sourcing solutions at major consumer products companies in the United States and Europe. He also led the software product delivery team for their Collaborative Sourcing platform, and specialized in guiding companies through sourcing their largest and most critical spend categories.
Prior to Verticalnet, Michalski worked at Clarity Consulting, a Chicago-based technical consultancy, where he led teams in delivering custom software solutions to companies such as USFreightways and Ameritech (now AT&T).
Michalski received his Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and English at the University of Pennsylvania, and his Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Chicago. He lives in Chicago with his wife Hilde and son Karl.

Brad Mueller
Vice President, Client Services
Brad Mueller joined ArrowStream as Vice President of Client Services in January 2009 and is responsible for all account management, account expansion and customer satisfaction for ArrowStream Logistics Services.
With more than 19 years of experience, Mueller has held senior leadership positions in Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Development for industry leading companies such as Newell Rubbermaid, Baxter Healthcare, USF Logistics, AT&T and UPS.
Prior to joining ArrowStream, Mueller led the transformation of a large B2B service business for Baxter Healthcare. Under Mueller's leadership, the business posted record growth, margin and customer satisfaction numbers while growing market share at 3 times the market rate. Mueller has an extensive background in service model development and services implementation across multiple industries, delivering bottom line results across a broad base of customer groups.
Mueller has also led the discovery and implementation of significant supply chain, technology and process improvements across numerous vertical industry groups. The results include millions in hard cost savings, with improved service levels and service differentiation.
Mueller holds a Master of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Frank Morgiewiicz
Vice President, Business Relationships
Frank Morgiewicz joined ArrowStream as Vice President of Business Relationships in 2010 and is responsible for key account management and business relationship development; leading effective organizational change related to business relationships and further building talented account management teams. During his career, Morgiewicz has been known for leading change effectively, building and developing execution teams, developing talent and providing superior customer service.
Prior to joining ArrowStream, Morgiewicz spent the last 30 years directing supply chain implementations in the U.S. and 20 other countries. Over the last six years, Morgiewicz has provided supply consulting services to foodservice companies including Wendy’s, McDonald’s and Gordon Logistics.
Prior to that, Morgiewicz served for seven years as Vice President of Supply Chain for the Friendly Ice Cream Corporation, and for nine years as Vice President of International Operations for PepsiCo’s international restaurants (YUM! Brands). Morgiewicz entered the foodservice industry as Regional Manager for Pepsico’s largest domestic foodservice distribution center.
Morgiewicz holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Miami, Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of New York, Albany. He also serves on the board of the International Ice Cream Association and Goodwill Industries.

Greg Long
Vice President, Human Resources
Greg Long joined ArrowStream in 2006 as the Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining ArrowStream, Long held HR leadership roles in a number of manufacturing and consumer product companies, including Quaker Oats, Blyth, Inc., Sun Chemical, and Container Corporation of America.
Long has an extensive background in staffing, employee development, leadership development and training. His early work in HR was in labor relations where he helped develop and implement principle-based bargaining practices in a number of organizations.
Long earned a Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education and Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Kent State University.
Greg and his wife Diane live in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and are the parents of three adult children.

Jeff Whittemore
Vice President IT & Compliance
Jeff Whittemore joined ArrowStream as the Director of IT in the summer of 2009 and was named Vice President of IT & Compliance in July of 2010. Jeff has 30 years experience in information technology and has been instrumental in upgrading and scaling ArrowStream’s IT infrastructure.
As the VP of IT & Compliance, Jeff is responsible for guaranteeing ArrowStream’s systems grow with our business while maintaining appropriate service levels, as well as designing, implementing and keeping ArrowStream’s IT disaster recovery plans current. Jeff ensures that all IT activities are performed in accordance with best practices.
Prior to joining ArrowStream, Jeff was the VP of IT Operations and one of the founders of Secured Digital Storage. In his previous role as VP at The Systems House, Jeff created a start-up hosting/collocation business. And as Director of IT for US Office Products he centralized IT and designed and built an award-winning enterprise data center. After US Office Products were purchased, Jeff planned and executed their merging with Corporate Express IT networks and platforms.

Walter Kopp
Vice President, Operations
Walt Kopp joined ArrowStream in 2007 as Vice President of Operations. Previously, Kopp spent 12 years at Sears Holding Corporation where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including accounting and supply chain positions in financial analysis, carrier management, product services logistics, and inbound logistics.
Most recently Kopp was Director of Store Support where he was responsible for all deliveries to Sears and Kmart retail formats. Kopp's accomplishments include contributing to the reengineering and optimization of the supply chain networks resulting from the Sears/Kmart merger. Prior to Sears, Kopp worked with DSC Logistics, a 3rd party logistics company, and AM&G, a public accounting firm in Chicago.
Kopp earned his Master of Business Administration from Elmhurst University and his Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Kopp also has a Masters in Accountancy from DePaul University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
